Jaguars Playing Academy
The Jaguars Playing Academy is a three-day residential academy run by the same team that coach the Jacksonville Jaguars! Supported by Jaguars and NFL alumni and featuring special guest appearances by the players themselves.
We listened to your feedback and this year the Academy will be padded, contact American Football, giving you the ultimate NFL experience. As with real team practice, training will take place during the day, with video review sessions and feedback in the evening.
NFL Academy - The World's First
The programme has been designed to provide athletic sporting performance coaching in American football together with Further Education. This is a unique offer, not only for the UK, but also internationally - providing the only programmes of this kind outside of the US and North American High School system.

The student athletes will train at least 3 times per week over 44 weeks of the year in field-based practice sessions, with video analysis and classroom-based work conducted before each practice. Additional physical conditioning programmes will be written for each player which they can complete in the brand new NFL Academy gym facilities.

Additional benefits include access to a full-time team of physiotherapists, and clinic sessions will be available for all student athletes, as well as free gym access to the College's performance gym which has strength and conditioning support.

The NFL Academy is looking for talented American football players, or cross-over athletes who haven’t played the sport. The combination of high-quality sports and academic training is intended to help students achieve NCAA Scholarship offers to Division 1 or 2 US Colleges. Alternatively, students may wish to play the game to high levels with NGB national teams, British universities or European Leagues.
